Growth in Sales – from SDR to Sales Leader [Podcast]
Sales, as a profession, can be a frustrating journey at times. At one point you feel like you’re on the top of the world, closing deals left and right, and the next moment everything comes crashing down. It’s truly a career of ebbs and flows. So, if sales is so complicated, how do people truly grow their careers? There isn’t a one-size fits all playbook on how to do sales “better”, in fact, there are about a thousand blogs for every facet of what it’s like to be a sales professional. Taking your current position as an AE or SDR and turning into a leadership role isn’t easy. That’s why we felt so passionately about putting together this podcast episode.
On this episode of Unlocking Pure Revenue, we interviewed PureB2B Sales Team Lead, Chaz Williams. He took his sales career from being an SDR to a Sales Team lead in less than a year. Needless to say, that’s quite a jump, but Chaz does a great job walking through three key things:
-Consistency in sales process
-A desire to learn from his peers
-What a leadership minded “workload” should really be.
