This week, I got news that Pure Incubation (the parent company of PureB2B) made it to the Boston Business Journal Fast 50 list for the 5th year in a row. I also found out that we are now #85 on the list of one of the largest private companies in Massachusetts. (link: https://www.bizjournals.com/boston/subscriber-only/2020/04/23/largest-private-companies-in.html)
The Fast 50 list represents the 50 fastest growing private companies in Massachusetts. The calculation is based on revenue growth from 2016 to 2019. The Largest Private Companies in Massachusetts list is ranked by the company’s total 2019 revenue.
These recognitions are obviously an honor – it’s so nice to have the hard work we’ve put in noted and rewarded by a local organization. It’s great to get the validation that we are performing well, and it’s also nice to be able to share some good news with the team during a time when things have been so hard. But the thing that I am most proud of today is the hard work and consistency that it has taken to get here.
I was recently chatting with Chris Rack, PureB2B’s CRO, about our newest sales office trying to decide what quote we are going to use on the wall. He sent me a bunch of different options that he loves and uses with his sales teams to inspire them; but this one stuck out:
“Winning is not a sometime thing; it’s an all time thing. You don’t win once in awhile, you don’t do things right once in awhile, you do them right all the time. Winning is a habit. Unfortunately, so is losing.” – Vince Lombardi
While I’m proud that we have won this award again, I am the proudest that our team does the hard work – the day-to-day work that very few people see and recognize – that leads to this type of result. By working hard and doing the hard work – day in and day out – we have been able to accomplish incredible things together.
